Massey University Doctoral Conference Grants

The Massey University Doctoral Conference Grants offer financial support for doctoral students to present their research at conferences in their discipline. The grant should be used at the applicant's discretion to assist with conference registration costs, travel, accommodation, or any other presentation costs incurred. Applications are considered on a rolling basis throughout the year until funds are exhausted, with selection occurring at the start of each month for applications received in the previous month. The value of the award will be determined by the selection panel, up to $1,000 for national conferences and up to $2,000 for international conferences. The program seeks candidates with a new and original contribution who are lead presenters and have the full support of their primary supervisor. Applicants must have successfully completed their confirmation event and have a conference presentation which has been formally accepted, with preference given to students in their second and third year of doctoral study.
