Massey University Undergraduate First Year Scholarship – School Leavers

The Massey University Undergraduate First Year Scholarship supports school leavers to undertake university study for the first time. These scholarships are designed to acknowledge excellence and enable equitable access to study for all students new to Massey undergraduate study. The scholarship provides up to $4,000 in value, including a direct payment of $3,000 for students studying full time (minimum 105 credits) and $1,500 for students studying part time (minimum 60 credits), plus support through the Scholars Massey programme valued up to $1,000. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents who are currently studying NCEA Level 3 or equivalent, or who completed NCEA Level 3 or equivalent last year. Recipients will be selected based on NCEA Level 2 or equivalent results, and the university may also consider intended study plans and personal characteristics to ensure equitable awarding. Up to 200 awards are available for students intending to enrol full time or part time in the first year of a Massey University undergraduate degree at any campus or online.
