About this opportunity
The Master of Accounting Scholarship provides financial support to students pursuing the Master of Accounting (MAcc) programme at University College Cork. The scholarship is valued at €12,500 and is open to students who have not otherwise secured funding to pursue the programme. This competitive scholarship supports students who have demonstrated academic excellence with a minimum Second Class Honours Grade 1 in an approved primary degree with a significant accounting specialisation and who expect to qualify for exemption from the CA Proficiency 1 examination of Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI). The scholarship aims to support talented students in advancing their professional accounting qualifications and career ambitions. Recipients must maintain attendance and meet all programme requirements throughout the year, including examination entry. The scholarship is awarded on a competitive basis following review of personal statements submitted by eligible applicants.
