About this opportunity
This scholarship was introduced to spotlight the recently launched Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) programme at Victoria University of Wellington. It seeks to attract ambitious students who are committed to addressing planning challenges and advancing their knowledge in urban and regional planning. The scholarship provides financial support towards tuition fees for students enrolled in the MURP programme. Recipients are selected based on their demonstrated enthusiasm for urban planning, commitment to sustainable development, evidence of academic excellence, well-defined goals that align with the programme objectives, and a strong academic and/or community liaison record. Up to two scholarships are offered annually with a value of $1,000 each towards tuition fees.

Review process
The Programme Lead of the Master of Urban and Regional Planning will recommend awardees in consultation with the Head of School and the Postgraduate Director. The Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design Innovation grants the scholarship.
