About This Opportunity
Masters by Research scholarships are available to be conducted within the Solving Plastic Waste Cooperative Research Centre (SPW CRC) at RMIT University. The Solving Plastic Waste CRC includes a project on understanding social usage, attitudes, drivers and barriers across the value chain which influences the adoption of compostable alternatives as a substitute to flexible plastic packaging. Two scholarships are available for Australian citizens and permanent residents to pursue a two-year Masters by Research program. The research focuses on broader environmental issues, circular economy solutions, waste management strategies, and the development of evidence-based recommendations for plastic waste management. Candidates should possess skills in qualitative and quantitative data collection, statistical analysis, life cycle assessment, and strong analytical and communication abilities.
