About this opportunity
The Maternal and Child Health (MCH) nursing scholarships are designed to attract high quality nurse midwives to increase the capacity of Victoria's already world-class MCH nursing workforce. Funded by the Victorian Government Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), this scholarship supports the Victorian Government's Early Childhood Reform Plan. The scholarship provides funding for Commonwealth Supported Places for full-time students over one year or part-time students over two years. Priority scholarships are also available for eligible Aboriginal students, students from diverse communities or students undertaking their clinical placement in areas of high workforce deficit. The scholarship is specifically for students enrolled in the Graduate Diploma in Child and Family Health Nursing (GD159) at RMIT University who are Division 1 Registered Nurses and Midwives registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
