About this opportunity
The Matthew Carter Scholarship is presented by the Gamma Xi Boulé Foundation, Inc. directly to high school seniors for academic or technical/trade school expenses. This scholarship was created to honor Matthew Carter, who was a charter member of Gamma Xi Boulé, as well as a national officer of Sigma Pi Phi. An award is issued upon proof of enrollment in a four-year accredited college/university or a technical/trade school leading towards a Certification. Eligibility is based on successful graduation from high school. The scholarship is specifically designed to support students from Sarasota and Manatee counties in Florida who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to pursuing degrees in business, finance, biological and life sciences, physics, chemistry, social science, mathematics, engineering, and other academic disciplines.
