Matthew J. Morris Memorial Fund (Award)

The Matthew J. Morris Memorial Award honors Matthew Morris, who was dedicated to self-improvement, lifelong learning, and helping others in their research during his undergraduate and MS thesis work. The award is given to a current University at Buffalo graduate student in Nutrition Science or Exercise Science who is pursuing thesis-based research. Preference is given to MS in Nutrition Sciences students, though applications from Exercise Science and Nutrition graduate students are also considered. Recipients must demonstrate academic persistence and determination, willingness to help others, and a desire to learn as much as possible while completing their degree through thesis work in the University at Buffalo School of Public Health and Health Professions. A student can receive this award only once.
