Matthew J. Schnirel Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund

The Matthew J. Schnirel Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund provides an annual scholarship to one or more students in their third year of study at the University at Buffalo Law School. The scholarship is awarded to students who have participated in the Law School Trial Advocacy program and who are in good academic standing. Preference is given to students who work while attending school, participate in outside activities, or engage in volunteer work. This memorial scholarship honors the legacy of Matthew J. Schnirel while supporting law students who demonstrate both academic achievement and commitment to practical legal training and community involvement.
