The Matthew McCauley Memorial Prize in Education is awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in the first, second, or third year of studies in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta. The recipient must be a graduate of an Edmonton high school. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership qualities through community involvement and extracurricular activities.
