The Matthew Wong Scholarship, proudly funded by The PS Matthew Wong Legacy Trust, has been established to honour Matthew Wong's memory by helping students overcome barriers to education. This scholarship supports young individuals who face educational disadvantage yet show resilience, compassion, and a strong sense of purpose in using their education to contribute meaningfully to society. The scholarship is available to one student commencing their studies in Semester 1, 2026. This scholarship is valued at up to $22,500 with $7,500 paid annually for up to three years. The scholarship supports undergraduate students in disciplines including Education and Teaching, Healthcare and Medical Sciences, Social Work, Community Services and Psychology, Law, Science and Technology, Engineering, and Information Technology.
