About this opportunity
The Mattinson Scholarship Program for Students with Disabilities provides financial support to Canadian undergraduate students who have documented permanent disabilities. The scholarship recognizes academic achievement, community involvement, and extracurricular activities among students in their second or third year of full-time undergraduate studies. Six scholarships of $2,500 each are available annually. Applications are by nomination only, with each participating university nominating one candidate to Universities Canada. Students must have a minimum average of 70% over the last three terms and demonstrate permanent functional limitations resulting from physical, sensory, mental health impairment, learning disability, or neurological disorder. The selection process considers academic performance, volunteer and community involvement, and quality of reference letters.
