Maureen Tracy Venti Memorial Internship Fund

The Maureen Tracy Venti Memorial Internship Fund provides scholarship support to students in the College of Humanities and Fine Arts at the University of Massachusetts Amherst who will be participating in internships. The fund was established by Mr. Edward G. Venti to support students gaining practical work experience through internships. Eligible recipients must demonstrate financial need as determined by UMass Amherst and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8. The scholarship is specifically designed to reduce financial barriers for humanities and fine arts students seeking internship opportunities, which are often unpaid or low-paid but provide valuable professional development. The donor's intention is to award two scholarships of $2,500 each year. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application and should apply through the HFA Summer Internship Scholarship application process.
