Maurice & Catherine Sessel Alton Student Scholarship

The Maurice & Catherine Sessel Alton Student Scholarship provides scholarship support for deserving SIUE students who demonstrate financial need and are graduates of an Alton secondary school. Recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above on a 4.0 scale and must have graduated from an Alton secondary school with a 2.5 GPA or above. Recipients are selected by the Director of Student Work and Financial Assistance and may reapply each year but will not be given preferential treatment. Awards may be used for tuition and fees or other college costs but shall not exceed the student's total cost of education. This scholarship is open to all prospective incoming freshmen at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
