About this opportunity
The Max Hawk Travelling Scholarship in the School of Art is designed to assist students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs at the ANU School of Art & Design who have received approval for a period of study exchange at an overseas institution with which the School has an approved exchange program. The scholarship is valued at $3,000 per annum and is awarded as a once-off payment. Applicants must demonstrate a high capacity for achievement in their chosen field of Arts practice and have an outstanding academic record in Arts. The scholarship aims to support students who have made a strong case for the relevance of study at the host institution, demonstrate an aptitude for adapting to the particular cultural environment of the host institution, and show a capacity for maximizing the benefit both to the individual and the relationship between the two institutions. Selection is based on the merit of application, the recommendation of the relevant Head of Workshop, and the applicant's academic record.
