Max Hawk Travelling Scholarship in the School of Art

The Max Hawk Travelling Scholarship is designed to assist students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs at the ANU School of Art who have received approval for a period of study exchange at an overseas institution with which the School of Art has an approved exchange program. The scholarship supports students who have demonstrated a high capacity for achievement in their chosen field of Arts practice. Applicants must have an outstanding academic record in Arts, make a strong case for the relevance of study at the host institution, demonstrate an aptitude for adapting to the particular cultural environment of the host institution, and show a capacity for maximizing the benefit both to the individual and the relationship between the two institutions. Selection is based on merit of application, the recommendation of the relevant Head of Workshop, and the applicant's academic record.
