May Owen Nursing Scholarship

The May Owen Nursing Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship for nursing students at Tarrant County College. The scholarship supports students enrolled in the Associate of Applied Science Program in Nursing who demonstrate academic excellence with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (with preference for 3.25 or higher). Recipients must have completed at least half of their required degree hours and maintain enrollment in at least 7 credit hours during the award period. The scholarship particularly values applicants with a demonstrated history of volunteerism. This scholarship is renewable for the spring semester if recipients maintain academic standards and enrollment requirements.
