About this opportunity

This scholarship supports students enrolled at Tarrant County College who are pursuing an associate degree or certificate of completion. The scholarship is merit-based and does not require demonstration of financial need. Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 (or high school equivalent for first-time students) and enroll in at least 9 credit hours or full-time enrollment as defined by their program. A unique requirement of this scholarship is that recipients must volunteer eight hours with a Tarrant County nonprofit organization during the course of each semester. The scholarship is renewable for the spring semester if recipients achieve a minimum semester GPA of 2.75, complete at least 9 credit hours in the fall, and provide signed verification of their volunteer service to the Foundation Office.
