About this opportunity
The McCreath Indigenous Student Award is a scholarship offered by the University of Saskatchewan to support female Indigenous students pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the Edwards School of Business. The award provides substantial financial assistance of $10,000 to eligible students who demonstrate financial need and meet specific academic and eligibility criteria. Recipients must be Indigenous students who have completed the first term of year one in the BComm program or be transfer students from SIIT or the Aboriginal Business Administration Certificate (ABAC) program. Selection is based on an interview with the Director of Undergraduate and Certificate Programs at the Edwards School of Business. This award is renewable for up to three additional years, allowing recipients to receive support throughout their undergraduate studies as long as they meet the College's standard for academic promotion. The award was established by the McCreath family to support Indigenous women in business education.
