About this opportunity
The McGuire-Holcomb Scholarship Fund was established in memory of William F. McGuire, Ruth H. Holcomb, and Kenneth P. Holcomb. This scholarship provides financial support for tuition and books for students who have a physical disability. The scholarship is designed to help students with visible physical disabilities pursue their educational goals at the undergraduate or graduate level. Priority consideration is given to residents of Madison County, Ohio, though residents of Champaign, Clark, Franklin, or Union counties in Ohio who have lived in the region for at least five years are also eligible. The scholarship supports students attending two-year or four-year degree programs at post-secondary institutions in the United States. Recipients must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and be medically certified as having a physical disability.
