Meadowland Poultry Scholarship (with one year work placement)

The Meadowland Poultry Scholarship is open to all 2nd year BSc or 1st year FdSc students studying at Harper Adams University who are interested in pursuing a career in poultry farm management. A placement year with Meadowland Poultry must be suitable for the student's course area. The successful recipient will receive a significant contribution towards their education of £4,500 in the year prior to placement and employment with Meadowland Poultry during their placement year. Subject to a review at the end of placement with Meadowland Poultry, there may be an opportunity of further funding in the scholar's final academic year. A condition of the scholarship is that recipients undertake their placement year with Meadowland Poultry. The award is paid in two equal parts: half in February and the remaining balance in May. This is a competitive award evaluated on merit of the submitted application, academic achievements to date, and interview.
