Meadows Scholarship

The Meadows Scholarship supports a full-time bachelor's degree student currently enrolled in classes at UW-Milwaukee who was previously in foster care, with a preference for someone who aged out of foster care. Academic merit will be considered and qualified applicants will have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Flex degree students are not eligible. Applications are typically accepted in spring semester. Applicants will be required to provide information about their family background as it relates to foster care. Awards given in spring are for the following school year so students graduating that same spring or summer are not eligible. This scholarship is administered through the UWM Foundation and supports students who have experienced the foster care system between the ages of 0 to 18.
