Medical Electives Grants

The Linder Foundation has been committed to supporting medical students with their elective since its inception. All students are required to complete an elective towards the end of their medical training which involves them finding a placement hospital or medical facility to work in for 6-12 weeks, many of which are abroad. The Foundation provides travel and living costs support to around 60 students through 7 teaching hospitals and encourages "out of the ordinary" opportunities which positively impact the hosting facility. Many students report that the elective provides them with lifelong learning experiences and memories. This program is by invitation only and applications cannot be made without invitation or by individuals directly.
