Medical Electives Support

The Linder Foundation provides travel and living costs support to medical students completing their mandatory elective placements at the end of their medical training. The elective involves a 6-12 week placement at a hospital or medical facility, with many placements occurring abroad. The Foundation supports approximately 60 students through 7 teaching hospitals and encourages elective opportunities that are 'out of the ordinary' and positively impact the hosting facility. Students consistently report that their elective experiences provide lifelong learning and memorable experiences. This program has been a core commitment of the Foundation since its inception, helping to support the next generation of medical professionals through immersive clinical experiences.
