About this opportunity
Established in 2010, the Medical Student Fellowship Program is a chance for outstanding medical students to pursue urology research by engaging in a research fellowship mentored by world-class urologic scientists. Fellows receive $4,000 stipends to support them during a mentored research experience. Applicants can propose a research project of up to 12 months, to take place during the award period of July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027. Proposals must detail when project effort will be high (e.g., 80-100%) and consecutive and justify instances where project effort is moderate and incremental. Medical Student Fellowships are sponsored by Arkansas Urologic Society, AUA New York Section, Carl A. Olsson, MD Research Endowment Fund, and Herbert Brendler, MD, Research Fund Nathirmal N. Lalchandani, MD Research Fund.
