Medicine Class of 1965 Award

The Medicine Class of 1965 Award is an endowed award provided to students enrolled in any year of a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry. The award recognizes students who maintain satisfactory academic standing, with selection based on academic performance. Preference in the selection process is given to students who come from rural communities. This award was established through endowed funds by the Medicine Class of 1965, led by Dr Terence Myles and Dr Sophie Andriaschuk, to support medical students in their educational journey. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
