About this opportunity

This scholarship is a memorial to the late Megan Wraight, founder of Wraight + Associates and a visionary landscape architect and true leader of the profession in Aotearoa-New Zealand. The scholarship honors Megan's passion for the profession and her dedication to educating the next generations of landscape architects. It seeks to support 2nd year students in the Bachelor of Architectural Studies, majoring in Landscape Architecture, who are willing to continue their undergraduate and postgraduate studies to become leading designers and creative thinkers. Recipients must have completed all coursework pertaining to the 2nd year of the Bachelor of Architectural Studies, majoring in Landscape Architecture, and must be enrolled in the 3rd year of the same program. The scholarship values excellence in design, innovation, communication skills, and high academic achievement, with preference given to Māori and Pasifika students.

Applications reviewed by the Programme Director for Landscape Architecture and Course Coordinator for LAND212 at Victoria University, along with Principals and/or representatives from Wraight + Associates. Applicants must present their LAND212 second-year design project work to representatives from Wraight & Associates in October 2025.
