About this opportunity
The Meitheal Award was established in 2018 to recognize clinical psychology graduate students at the University of Regina who in the course of their studies, demonstrate honour and commitment to working towards a better relationship between psychology and Indigenous peoples, in answer to calls of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Two awards are presented annually to students enrolled in the Clinical Psychology program through the Faculty of Arts who have demonstrated commitment to the Principles of Truth and Reconciliation or Anti-Racism through their clinical, research, or professional work. Preference is given to self-declared Indigenous students who meet the eligibility criteria.
