About this opportunity
The Melonye Shurtz Memorial Scholarship was established to honor Melonye Shurtz, who passed away from cancer in 2003 and made a huge difference in the lives of her children and their friends. It is specifically designed to support graduating seniors who plan to pursue a service-oriented profession or career. The scholarship recognizes students who show outstanding commitment to serving their family, school, church, or community.
Applicants must be graduating seniors of Eastmont High School with a minimum 3.0 GPA who demonstrate exceptional service and ethical standards. The application period opens on January 1st with a deadline of March 1st each year.
