Melva Joan Owens Scholarship

The Melva Joan Owens Scholarship supports students who have been admitted to the Nursing Program at Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, University of Arizona, or an accredited Nursing Program at an Arizona community college. This need-based scholarship is designed to assist nursing students who demonstrate financial need and academic achievement with a GPA greater than 2.99. Applicants must be admitted to the Professional Program in the College of Nursing at an Arizona college or university. The scholarship is administered by the Arizona Community Foundation and opens for applications on January 1, 2026, with a deadline of March 16, 2026.
