Melvin H. Baker Scholarship

The Melvin H. Baker Scholarship was established in 1966 by the National Gypsum Company to support undergraduate students at the University at Buffalo. This scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students who complete the FAFSA and demonstrate both financial need and high academic merit. Preference is given to National Merit Scholars who are either U.S. Citizens or permanent residents. The scholarship is administered through the Financial Aid Office and awards are made based on financial need considerations. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship upon completion of the General Application through the University at Buffalo Scholarship Portal.
