About This Opportunity

The Mensa Canada Scholarship Programme offers scholarships to Canadian students enrolled in post-secondary education. Applicants must write an essay describing their career goals in 250 words or less. The essay should describe specific academic, vocational, or career goals and include the applicant's course of study, year level, and post-secondary institution. Essays are evaluated based on their merit, and applicants must describe relevant experience and steps taken toward achieving their goals. The program includes one or more scholarships of $1000, and may also include Honourable Mentions, all awarded according to funding availability. Finalists are contacted and required to provide official proof of enrollment and sign a consent form. The competition results are announced by mid-September each year.
