About this opportunity
The Mentorship grant supports the artistic growth and development of composers within the genre of art music, which includes modern classical music, sound art, experimental electronic music and related genres. The program welcomes applications from all composers who are members of Koda and work within art music. Applicants can apply to be mentored by other composers, artists or persons with relevant high-level skills and qualifications, thereby promoting their professional and artistic growth. A mentor-mentee relationship requires commitment from both sides, mutual interest and good chemistry, offering an opportunity to acquire new inspiration, change direction, or acquire new techniques, compositional skills and technological skills. The mentor's work must be of a nature that will benefit the applicant's professional development.
