Meredith Doig Scholarship

The Meredith Doig Scholarship was established in 2016 by Dr Meredith Doig to encourage women to continue their studies in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects at Federation University Australia. The scholarship provides financial support of $4,000 to continuing domestic students who identify as women/female and are undertaking studies in STEM fields. Dr Meredith Doig, a professional company director with a distinguished career in manufacturing, mining, and banking, created this scholarship to promote gender equity in STEM education. The scholarship is available to students at various levels including Bachelor, Honours, and Postgraduate programs at the Ballarat location.
