Meridian Scholarship

The Meridian Scholarship is the University's highest academic honor at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. This prestigious scholarship is open to students with a 3.5 GPA or higher and recognizes proven achievement and the potential for future impact in academics, experiences, and civic engagement. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support covering full tuition for eight undergraduate semesters, all required student fees and course-related fees, on-campus housing, and a traditional meal plan. Recipients also receive automatic admission to SIUE's John Martinson Honors Program. The scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years, provided students maintain active participation in the Honors Program, continuous enrollment with 12 or more credit hours, and a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. This scholarship represents a full-ride opportunity for high-achieving students seeking to pursue their undergraduate education at SIUE.
