Merle Earnshaw Memorial Scholarship

The Merle Earnshaw Memorial Scholarship assists qualified degree seeking students who intend to work with children in a public library setting. The scholarship is named for, and was made possible by, long-time Phoenix Public Library employee, Merle Earnshaw. This scholarship supports current employees of Phoenix Public Library who are attending an American Library Association accredited Master's Program. The award is merit-based and requires applicants to maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA while pursuing graduate-level education in library science.
