Merv Leitch Q.C. Scholarship in Natural Resources Law

The Merv Leitch Q.C. Scholarship in Natural Resources Law is offered in recognition of the late Merv Leitch and his significant contributions to the public life of his province and his country. This scholarship is made possible by the generous support of friends and colleagues of the late Merv Leitch. The scholarship is offered annually to continuing third year undergraduate students in the Faculty of Law, JD program, with particular emphasis on students taking the Natural Resources Law course. Recipients are selected based on academic merit and strong participation in extra-curricular activities. Up to two scholarships of up to $10,000 each are awarded annually to qualified students who demonstrate excellence in their legal studies and engagement in activities beyond the classroom.
