Metis Scholar Entrance Awards

The Metis Scholar Entrance Awards are available to students entering full-time certificate, diploma, applied undergraduate degree or undergraduate degree programs at NAIT who demonstrate a connection to the Metis Nation of Alberta. The awards support Metis students pursuing education across any school at NAIT. Applicants must show proof of Metis ancestry through citizenship documentation and demonstrate current or recent involvement in the Metis community. The award is designed to support students who are not current clients of the Rupertsland Institute. Priority is given to Metis Nation of Alberta citizens and those who have never received funding from the Rupertsland Institute. Students who receive the award may continue to apply in subsequent academic years until graduation.
