MFA Theatre Directing award

The Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Scholarship supports an emerging director from a disadvantaged socio-economic background or under-represented background to undertake Birkbeck's two-year director training programme, the MFA Theatre Directing. The scholarship covers full course fees over two years and provides £2,500 funds per annum towards the costs of study. This award is specifically designed to increase access and diversity in theatre directing education for individuals who might otherwise face financial barriers to pursuing postgraduate training in this field.
