About This Opportunity

The MFS Career Grant is a one-time funding opportunity for Florida veterans, military spouses, military children, and high school seniors who have completed 3 years of JROTC. Thanks to a legacy gift from the George & Mimi Frank Estate and donations from generous donors, this grant assists individuals seeking to gain a trade skill, vocational training, or certification for a career. The program is designed to help men and women flourish when a degree path is not the best option, with a maximum award of $4,000 paid directly to the training program. Applications are accepted year-round on a rolling basis. This grant is not intended for baccalaureate or advanced degree purposes, focusing exclusively on vocational programs, certifications, and licensures. Military Family Support partners with the Frank Family to provide opportunities for those seeking good wages, success, and career development using the discipline learned from military service.
