Michael F. Cassidy Business Life Award

Granted to the graduating Bachelor of Business Administration student with the highest aggregate in the last 20 three semester-hour courses. The award was established by Michael F. Cassidy, a 1975 graduate who has had a distinguished career including working in corporate marketing, receiving his chartered accountancy designation, co-owning transportation companies, operating training and consulting practices, completing heritage development projects, and teaching at UPEI since 1988. Mike was elected to Fellowship in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of PEI in 2013 for his outstanding contribution to the CA profession through his extraordinary capabilities as an educator, mentor, and role model to students. The award recognizes academic excellence in business administration and honors Mike's commitment to UPEI and its students through his teaching of Accounting and Entrepreneurship classes.
