Michael S. Roif Award in Film Studies (Spring)

Established in memory of Michael S. Roif '83 MBA to provide financial assistance to one or more students enrolled in the certificate program in the Interdepartmental Program in Film Studies who has demonstrated excellence and creativity in their work. This award is by faculty nomination only and recognizes students who have completed a film, video, moving image, media or a written project in a UMass film studies course within the past three semesters. Nominees must be undergraduate Film Studies Certificate students or students in the Film Studies concentration. The award provides varying amounts of financial support to outstanding film studies students.
