About this opportunity
Deloitte Ireland has established the Michael Sheehan Memorial Prize in Taxation to honour the memory of Michael Sheehan who passed away in November 2024. Michael, who was a partner in Deloitte, was a graduate of UCC and a Chartered Accountant and a leading advisor to a wide spectrum of enterprises and organisations in the Cork region. Michael was the external examiner in Taxation on the M Accounting programme at the time of his death. This award is reflective of Michael's support of others in helping them strive for high levels of achievement. The prize of €750 shall be awarded annually to the Master of Accounting student who receives the highest final aggregate mark in the Taxation modules AC6216 (Winter sitting) and AC6217 (Summer sitting) at his/her first attempt.
