Michener Medal for Creative Arts

The Michener Medal for Creative Arts is an annual award for full-time first-year students at Red Deer Polytechnic who attended a School of Creative Arts program in the most recent academic year. Recipients must be continuing full-time studies in the subsequent year of their program at Red Deer Polytechnic in the upcoming academic year. The award is rotated between programs each year and recognizes students who have demonstrated outstanding contribution to the Creative Arts. The award is funded by the Government of Canada - Margaret Parsons Endowment Fund and provides both the Michener Medal and a monetary award of $1,675 CAD.
