About this opportunity
The Micro Route Grant is a funding opportunity offered by Kent Community Foundation for community organizations across Kent. Grants of up to £2,000 are available for organizations with an annual income under £75,000. This application form allows organizations to apply to the majority of Kent Community Foundation's Funds if their request fits into one of the Foundation's Priority Areas.
The grant can support either core running costs of organizations or project-related costs. Organizations must have their own bank account with two unrelated signatories and appropriate financial controls in place. The Foundation focuses on five priority areas: Children, Young People and Families; Elderly and Isolated Adults; Employability, Skills and Enterprise; Environment; and Vulnerable Adults.
Applicants must be based in Kent and provide services primarily benefiting Kent residents. The grant supports a wide range of issues including poverty, mental health, education, disability support, community development, arts and culture, and many other social issues. Organizations must demonstrate clear need, expected outcomes, and their capability to deliver the work. Supporting documentation including bank statements, recent accounts, and governing documents are required as part of the application process.
