About this opportunity

The grant program is designed to stimulate and facilitate activities related to the national minority Kvens/Norwegian-Finns in Finnmark. The goal is to strengthen and promote Kven language and Kven/Norwegian-Finnish culture in Finnmark. The program specifically aims to strengthen and increase the use of Kven language, especially among children and youth, increase participation and involvement in Kven/Norwegian-Finnish culture, particularly among children and youth, and increase dissemination of Kven language and Kven/Norwegian-Finnish culture, especially to children and youth. The grant supports time-limited projects that take place primarily in Finnmark county, with priority given to projects with broad regional significance, those emphasizing Kven language, and initiatives targeting children, youth, and young adults. The maximum application amount is 50,000 Norwegian kroner.
