About this opportunity

The Midwest Cyber Security Alliance Scholarship is awarded to select School of Information Studies (SOIS) junior or senior level students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Eligible students must be enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Science in Information Science and Technology (BSIST) program and have completed or be currently enrolled in specific cybersecurity courses including Introduction to Network Systems Administration, Information Security I, or Information Security II. The scholarship prioritizes students who demonstrate financial need as determined by FAFSA and maintain academic merit with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Strong preference is given to students interested in pursuing a career in cyber security. This scholarship is offered through the UWM Foundation and provides $1,500 in financial support to help students advance their education in information security and technology fields.
