The Mike S. Leffingwell Memorial Scholarship is a memorial scholarship honoring Mike S. Leffingwell, established by his family, friends, and work colleagues. This annual scholarship supports students enrolled at Tarrant County College Northeast Campus who are pursuing studies in Psychology. The scholarship provides $1,000 annually, distributed as $500 per fall and spring semester, based on availability of funds. The award is designed to support students who demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum 3.0 GPA at TCC, or a passing GED score for first-time students. Recipients must enroll in at least 6 credit hours or full-time enrollment as defined by their program. Preference is given to applicants who meet federal or state guidelines for financial need. The scholarship is renewable for the spring semester if the recipient maintains a minimum 3.0 semester GPA and completes at least 6 credit hours in the fall semester.
