Millar Western Entrance Leadership Scholarships

The Millar Western Entrance Leadership Scholarships are awarded to Alberta high school graduates with superior academic achievement entering the first year of an undergraduate degree program at the University of Alberta. Recipients will be chosen on the basis of leadership qualities as demonstrated by involvement in extracurricular and community activities, and on admission average. Special consideration will be given to individuals graduating from high schools in Whitecourt, Boyle, and Fox Creek, Alberta in which the Millar Western Group of Companies conducts operations. This scholarship is funded through an endowment by Millar Western Industries Ltd, as part of the company's commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for outstanding young people in the communities where they operate.
