Millar Western Transfer Leadership Scholarships

The Millar Western Transfer Leadership Scholarships are awarded to Alberta high school graduates with superior academic achievement who are transferring from an Alberta postsecondary institution to an undergraduate degree program at the University of Alberta. Recipients are selected based on leadership qualities demonstrated through involvement in extracurricular and community activities, as well as academic standing. Special consideration is given to individuals who have graduated from high schools in Whitecourt, Boyle, and Fox Creek, Alberta, where the Millar Western Group of Companies conducts operations. The scholarship is made possible through endowed funds provided by Millar Western Industries Ltd as part of the company's commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for outstanding young people.
