Millionstøtte til miljøløft i OBOS-borettslag

OBOS has allocated 250 million Norwegian kroner for environmental initiatives in over a thousand OBOS-affiliated housing cooperatives. This comprehensive environmental initiative was approved by the general assembly in spring 2021 and will be distributed over a five-year period. The funding benefits OBOS members in nearly 100,000 homes. The support is earmarked for housing environment, climate, and environmental measures in OBOS-affiliated housing cooperatives managed by OBOS. Each affiliated housing cooperative receives its own environmental bank account at OBOS Bank. The funds are locked in this account until the planned measure is completed. The board must provide advance notice and obtain approval for measures they wish to initiate. Once the measure is completed, the funds are transferred to the cooperative's operating account, normally within one month after the cooperative sends copies of paid invoices. Funding is distributed based on the number of homes in each cooperative as of July 1st each year.
