About this opportunity
The Milton Ezra Lazerte Gold Medal is awarded to a student convocating with a Bachelor of Education degree who has shown the highest general proficiency in their coursework and field experiences. This award has been annually funded by The Alberta Teachers' Association since 1951 in honour of Milton Ezra LaZerte, a former President of the Association and the Canadian Teachers' Federation who served as the Principal of the College of Education, then Dean of the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta. Recipients are automatically considered based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta awards system.
